The Hotel Group transforms five aging hotels giving each of them a new lease on life as contemporary, full-service hotels ready to serve the most astute traveler.
This lakeshore landmark 17-story hotel was acquired by THG in May of 2007. Renovation work began almost immediately to transform the languishing 378-room Holiday Inn Select into a stately best-in-class hotel offering guest amenities and upgrades such as a Starbuck's coffee bar off the lobby and luxury bedding, usually reserved for higher scale business hotels. Future plans call for re-positioning the hotel as a well-known upscale branded property. Renovations will be completed in Fall of 2008.
Since acquiring this established 388-room Radisson Suites Hotel in September 2007, The Hotel Group is infusing $14 million in renovations and upgrades to reposition the property as an upscale Crowne Plaza hotel serving the business community in the heart of downtown. The transformational renovation to be completed in late 2008 will encompass nearly every facet of the property with exterior upgrades, a new lobby and restaurant with lounge, adding a Starbuck’s coffee bar, complete guest room refresh and upgrading 13,000 sq. ft. of meeting space.
From dowdy to world class sophistication with a Montana flavor characterizes the 15-month, top-to-bottom transformation of the 289-room Billings Sheraton-turned-Crowne Plaza. Improvements to this landmark hotel include a complete exterior makeover with contemporary architectural accents as well as extensive interior enhancements such as refreshed guest rooms, converting a tired bar into 16,000 sq. ft. of meetings rooms, adding new retail space including a Starbuck’s coffee kiosk and an inviting street-level lobby bar.
Nestled in the rolling hills of Williamson County, upon acquiring the Hilton Suites Brentwood in 2005, THG took special care in renovating each of the 203 two-room suites which feature a living room and a separate sleeping room with Hilton Serenity® Bedding. The hotel transformation included an extensive renovation of the lobby atrium and fitness center. The Hilton Suites Brentwood is centrally located just minutes from Nashville, Grand Ole Opry and Vanderbilt University.
Opened in 1984, this 221-suites property in Columbus, Ohio was one of the first Embassy Suites in the chain. THG acquired the aging hotel in 2006 and immediately began work to breathe new life into the property by contemporizing the exterior and transforming the tired atrium into more upscale multi-level seating areas. A new bar and grill were added and the existing restaurant was reconfigured into multi-purpose meeting space well-suited for meetings and weddings. The fitness center was updated with the addition of top-of-the-line Precor exercise equipment with flat screen TV's.
