Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain positive and productive relationships with all corporate and property related staff. Nurture, supervise, develop and counsel property related accounting staff. Maintain general ledgers for numerous hotel properties. Monitor cash flow for numerous hotel properties. Monitor payables, issue checks and monitor revenue journal entries. Maintain and make all entries related to prepaids, accruals, loan amortizations. Analyze and review month end financial statements. Meet multiple deadlines as business demands.

1. BA or BS degree in accounting or finance is preferred. CPA or CMA is a plus. 2. Four years experience in the hotel industry preferred but not required. 3. Computer and network literate. 4. Ability to create ad hoc spreadsheets and reports. 5. Ability to communicate statistical and financial data at the executive and entry levels. 6. Constantly train, supervise, and develop hotel accounting staff. 7. Teach at monthly or quarterly training seminars offered to property level staff. 8. Conduct on site property audits-travel may will be required. 9. Assure that properties meet internal audit standards. 10. Demonstrate positive leadership qualities that inspire other Hotel Group employees to meet and exceed standards. 11. Implement, monitor and maintain payables journals, revenue journal entries, cash flows, payroll journal entries, prepaid and accrual schedules and related journal entries, budgets and all other record keeping and accounting for numerous hotel properties. 12. Analyze financial statements and cash flows. 13. Manage, monitor and maintain all property related escrow accounts. 14. Manage, monitor and maintain all construction/renovation-related accounting. 15. Manage monitor and maintain all pre-opening accounting. 16. Assist properties in the application of credit. 17.
