With so many properties in its portfolio, THG's Director of Accounting must take her job very seriously and Julie Rogers, CPA, certainly does.
Julie’s responsibility is "to oversee the activities of the Corporate Accounting Staff and Regional Controllers to ensure the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements, annual audits, property audits and annual budgets. My satisfaction comes from maximizing investment value for our clients. And of course everyone benefits from maintaining integrity in all of our business interactions," she says. "Quick, intelligent decisions based on timely and accurate reporting gives us a competitive edge over our competitors."
Julie began her career in the US Army as supply sergeant, in 1985. After four years, she moved throughout a variety of industries including hospitality where she served for several management companies with increasing levels of responsibility in accounting. She joined THG's Edmond's office in July 2007.
How does she unwind? Hiking and outdoors are among her favorite activities.
