As Project Renovation Manager, Larry McGugan enjoys the challenge of "leading the effort that turns an ugly duckling into a swan. I've been involved with so many different types of projects over my last 15 years of renovation work, that I've even come to enjoy the unexpected challenges often uncovered during the process. It's a wonderful experience to work closely with the corporate office, client, designers, contractors and subcontractors to creatively address a property's current shortcomings so that it is transformed into a quality facility that a guest will truly enjoy."

Prior to joining THG in the fall of 2006, Larry's 25 year career included work with Davidson Hotel Company, FelCor Lodging Trust, Hatchett Hospitality and Promus Hotels. His background includes finance, strategic planning, and computer system work in addition to construction and renovation.

Larry graduated from the University of Memphis. He likes traveling and spending time with his father ("93 years young!"), two sons and granddaughter.
