Jake Fischer joined the company in June 2007, but is no new-comer to the industry. He was most recently a Senior Manager in the Development Planning & Feasibility division with Marriott International. Previously, he held an Assistant Vice President position with Hotel & Gaming Services at HVS International.
With Jake’s expertise in evaluating and appraising various properties and markets, his principle focus will be to source new properties for THG’s Opportunity Fund III and subsequent funds. He thrives on the fast pace and diligent work this new position will demand, stating, “Though it will be a challenge to source deals that fit THG’s stringent investment parameters, I’m delighted to join a company that has such a healthy reputation and history of return. With the current momentum created from our most recent acquisitions, I’m confident that we can reach the Fund’s goals. Essentially, my flexibility and mobility will help us see more deals quickly”.
Jake earned his Master of Science degree in Hotel Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Davidson College, North Carolina. He revels in all that his “Surf City” Huntington Beach location affords him, including SCUBA diving and mountain biking, as well as spending time with his family, friends and dog, Maverick.
