The term "people person" is a bit of an understatement when used to describe Isabel Dreher, THG's director of recruitment & training. Isabel's own energy translates into a passion to recruit the industry's best, at both the property and the corporate level.

"The perfect resume doesn't necessarily translate into the perfect employee", notes Isabel. "We search for people whose core values are similar to those of THG's: integrity, passion, ethics and balance. If those match, and the person has the desire to work hard and to serve the needs of the guest and the owners, then we know we've found another great employee for our company. "

Dreher herself knows what it takes to succeed in the hospitality industry. She worked up from "the ranks" during her twelve year tenure with THG, first as a guest services supervisor at THG's Hampton Inn/Valencia, California then assisting the company in various capacities at other managed properties before being promoted to regional operations leader Seattle's corporate office.

As the mother of four children, three who are under the age of three, she appreciates the value that the company places on family and life balance. We don't know how she does it, but in her "free time", she also enjoys traveling, exercise activities, scrap-booking, decorating, and skiing.
