"Our mission is to create maximum investment value for our client partners and to provide personal and professional growth opportunities for our associates."
Our primary guiding principle is personal and professional integrity. It is the standard by which we make our decisions and measure our actions, as well as the value that we most strive to practice in our business relationships.

Tammy Griffin, Director of Operations for all Alaskan properties, began her hospitality career at the renowned Hotel Captain Cook in Anchorage, Alaska, where she learned many aspects of the business thanks to her numerous job promotions. "As the recipient of such good training, I particularly value my role as coach to our general managers. I love helping them become the best they can be, which in turn gives them tools to support their own employees' growth," says Tammy.

What does Tammy, an 12-year staff member, like best about working for THG? "It's a company with integrity" she says. "I am always confident that decisions are made in the best interest of our guests, our client partners, and our employees, and I am empowered to do my job in a caring and efficient manner."

As a life-long Alaskan, Tammy believes community involvement is of the utmost importance. Her work has included participation in a wide variety of organizations, such as The United Way, the Anchorage Community Heath Fair, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and Boys & Girls Clubs. She served on the Anchorage Civic & Convention Committee and worked on the campaign to elicit a "yes" vote for its new center. Tammy is currently the Chair of the Alaska Hotel & Lodging Association and was the 2007 recipient of the "Most Valuable Volunteer" award.

When she’s not working, she likes spending time with her family enjoying the great Alaska outdoors.
