"Our mission is to create maximum investment value for our client partners and to provide personal and professional growth opportunities for our associates."
Our primary guiding principle is personal and professional integrity. It is the standard by which we make our decisions and measure our actions, as well as the value that we most strive to practice in our business relationships.

"The experience I have in this unique market, gained from my lifetime residency, provides great insight in guiding our strategies", notes Tammy Griffin, director of operations for all Alaskan properties.

Her hospitality career began at the renowned Hotel Captain Cook where she learned many aspects of the business via her numerous job promotions. "As the recipient of such good training, I particularly value one of my roles as coach to our general managers. I love helping them become the best they can be, which in turn gives them tools to support their own employees' growth" says Tammy. As an nine year staff member, what does she like best about working for the THG? "It's a company with integrity" she responds. "I am always confident that decisions are made in the best interest of our guests, our client partners, and our employees and I am empowered to do my job in a caring and efficient manner."

As a native, community involvement is very important to Tammy. Her work has included extensive participation with a wide variety of organizations such as The United Way, Anchorage Community Heath Fair, Muscular Dystrophy Association, and Boys & Girls Clubs. She served on the Anchorage Civic & Convention Committee, and worked on the campaign to elicit a "yes" vote for its new center. Tammy is currently serving on the Executive Board for the Alaska Hotel & Lodging Association in the position of Vice Chairman.

When she’s not working, she likes spending time with her family enjoying the great Alaska outdoors.
