Catherine joined The Hotel Group in 2007 from an Atlanta-based software company where she was responsible for the management and execution of worldwide events. Catherine’s expertise in event coordination and project management, coupled with her background in hospitality, has proven to be the perfect combination to serve as Executive Assistant to the Executive Vice President, Lara Latture. Catherine received her BS from The University of Alabama in Hotel & Restaurant Management, where her desire to be involved in the world of hospitality took shape. "In the South, hospitality is a way of life, an attitude. I believe THG embraces that attitude 100%."
Now based in Nashville, Catherine ensures that she keeps tabs on Lara's demanding schedule and that the day-to-day details of various hotel projects are attended to efficiently. "My focus is keeping the operations balance in check, while at the same time being Lara's support system for the myriad of tasks we deal with daily," explains Catherine. "Lara is a very inspiring leader and one of the smartest people I know. I truly enjoy learning from her every day."
At home, Catherine’s commitment to hospitality manifests itself in the form of cooking and spending time with her husband, family and friends.
