"The variety of responsibilities I have, from recruiting, to planning our corporate events, to organizing a campaign through our Good Neighbor Program, is just one of the things I like so much about my position," explains Lynne Dematteo, Special Projects & Recruiting Manager. "The other great thing about my work is the sense of belonging. I get to work with many people from throughout the country, and I always experience a sense of camaraderie, mutual respect, and appreciation. We also thrive on practicing one of our mission statement's goals, which is 'to provide personal and professional growth for our associates.'"
Lynne's assortment of talents, accumulated in her 20 years of work in the hospitality industry, gives her a strong background for all the different projects in which she is involved. One of her favorites is the Good Neighbor Program, implemented by THG in 2006 and designed to support its properties in their efforts to contribute to their communities with the simple premise of "enriching the community in the ordinary course of business on a continual basis."
Lynne and her husband live with their two children in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where they enjoy spending time on the lake or at the ball field. She also likes reading, cooking, and volunteering in her children's schools.
