"The variety of responsibilities I have from recruiting, to planning our corporate events, to organizing a campaign through our Good Neighborhood program is just one of the things I like so much about my position", explains Lynne Dematteo, special projects and recruiting manager. "The other great thing about my work is the sense of belonging. I get to work with many people from throughout the country and I always experience a sense of camaraderie, mutual respect and appreciation. We also all thrive on practicing one of our mission statement's goals, which is 'to provide personal and professional growth for our associates'."
Lynne's assortment of talents, gained via her 20 years of work within the hospitality industry, gives her a strong background for the different projects in which she is involved. One of her favorites is The Good Neighbor Program, implemented by THG in 2006, and designed to support its properties in their efforts to contribute to the communities where they are located. The simple premise: "Enrich the community in the ordinary course of business on a continual basis."
Lynne and her husband reside in Chattanooga, Tennessee with their two children where they enjoy spending time on the lake or at the ball field. She also likes reading, cooking and volunteering in her children's schools.
